Bacteria- microbes that can be found virtually everywhere- air, soil, water, plants, and animals
They tend to grow in colonies often round in shape. They are vital to the recyling prosess of nutrients. There are also responsible for the exchange of information through out the world.
There are as much as 10X's as many bacteria cells as human cells within the body
Recycling, transforming
Fungus-Organisms whose cells are organized into complex structures, enclosed membranes with functioning internal organs like a human. Forming mycelium and spores- Present during decomposition of organic matter. Indispensable in nutrient cycling exchange. They tend to me more often present when the body is weakened. There are also responsible for the exchange of information through out the world.
Viruses- as much as 10,000X's smaller then bacteria. They consist of a collection of genetic material (RNA/DNA) encased in a protective capsle. They come into contact with a host cell and trigger the host to engulf them so they can release their DNA into the cell. Then they take over the macinery of the cell and reproduce. The host does all the work the virus simply provides the instructions. They can be more active or lie dormit for years
